The man worse than Margaret Thatcher
The wretched era of Tony Blair keeps haunting us. His legacy lives on as a howling banshee in the night. You could claim that Keir Starmer is worse than him, but Starmer is just a bad Blair copy, really, allowed to take the bad stuff a step further, benefiting from Blair’s effort.
The Labour Party started declining in earnest after the electoral success of Thatcher. They started accepting her policies, and making them their own, putting the wrong people in elections and as leaders. As stated, one of the major mistakes the movement growing out of the old worker movements did was accepting capitalism. That initial mistake just became bigger and bigger through the decades. Labour led by Clement Attlee, for instance, a celebrated leader in posterity, was firmly attached to NATO and western oppressive worldwide machinations. But bending their knees to Thatcher was the final nail in the coffin, really. Neil Kinnock, party leader from 1983 to 1992, at best reluctant to support the striking miners, started the hatchet job, the purging of socialists, and socialist ideology from the party continuing to this day. «I was too afraid of Arthur Scargill to aid striking miners».
Tony Blair being elected party leader in 1994 was a horrible moment in human history. There is no need to play it down. It should be named accordingly. There was no need to elect such a «moderate» man or policies. The Conservatives had become widely unpopular. Labour would have won the election in 1997 no matter who their prime minister candidate had been, and everyone knew that. They chose him, anyway, even calling themselves New Labour, with new, flashing liberal conservative policies to match.
It was a watershed moment, leading to far more rightwing New Labour MPs being elected, many of those Jeremy Corbyn eventually had to contend with. Many of them, including Blair himself, went on record saying Corbyn should not be elected prime minister, sabotaging his effort at every turn in an unprecedented effort aided by the entire establishment media and foreign and domestic zionists.

My blog entry from May 2006:
A Record Speaking For Itself
Tony Blair told a Union conference in Blackpool on Tuesday that Labour’s record, not the latest newspaper headlines, should decide the upcoming local elections in England.
«It has been difficult», he said, «but nine days’ headlines should not obscure nine years of achievement.»
I agree. It shouldn’t.
So, let’s take a look at the record, at the achievements. Let’s observe what Teflon Tony and his New Labour Party have accomplished during his reign of power.
+ There are more poor and homeless people than it was when he took over. The only reason why he hasn’t done anything about it, but on the contrary letting it slide and encouraging it, is that he just doesn’t care. He has other priorities.
+ He has done nothing or less than nothing to address the horror of industrial pollution and nuclear power plants. Even the infamous reprocessing plant of Sellafield has been allowed to keep operating during his tenure, this one in spite of massive domestic and international protests, including the Norwegian and Swedish governments.
+ He has eagerly participated and also partly instigated the attacks/invasions of three sovereign nations (Serbia, Afghanistan and Iraq) without the slightest provocation or threat. To achieve public support for the aggression in Iraq he lied and keeps lying to his own countrymen, falsified documents or/and caused documents to be falsified.
+ It’s more than fair to say that he and people around him (including the «heir» Gordon Brown) have done more than anyone to set Great Britain on the path (and beyond really) to the totalitarian society described in George Orwell’s novel 1984 (among other stories).
ASBOs (the Anti-social behaviour orders) was his first triumph. It’s basically criminalizing non-criminal conduct, and is truly a tyrant’s all-purpose tool, if I ever saw one. If you are making a loud noise on Sundays you may easily be «served» an ASBO. Yes, it’s that bad. And worse, it has wide popular support.
With The Terrorism Act 2000, where it basically became illegal to work to make drastic changes to society (even peacefully). It also made it legal for the British Government to persecute and charge any person deemed a terrorist, no matter where in the world the «crime» had been «committed» and no matter that «perpetrator’s» nationality. In other words, they took the Israeli secret service practice and made it into a law.
Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 passed after 9/11 helped further his totalitarian agenda, allowing foreign nationals to be detained legally without charge for an indefinite period, making sure any foreign radical feels even more unsafe in Britain. This was later struck down as incompatible with the European Convention on Human Rights. But that fact hardly deterred Tony at all in his quest.
Yet more oppressive laws were passed recently, among them one outlawing «the glorification of terror» in writing speech and art, passed after months of protests and various kinds of opposition, but passed and in operation, yet another method of subjugating the human spirit, yet another all-purpose tool designed to serve tyranny.
With all this the reason behind everything becomes abundantly clear. It’s not aimed at foreign nationals or «terrorists» at all, but at Blair’s own voters and «subjects», to better control and subjugate them.
All this is about control. Tony is among the biggest control freaks out there, that’s for sure.
Civil liberties, human freedom aren’t merely hampered here, but broken in a thousand pieces.
And in closing: This is something I’ve pondered for years. Would it be better if GASP the conservatives had stayed in power? Yes, it certainly would. I’ve come to realize that. John Major and bunch were/are lazy, pragmatic tyrants, not insane visionaries bent on eradicating the last vestiges of Freedom on Earth.

My blog entry about Jeremy Corbyn and the massive persecution of him, his supporters and politics from 2018. This blog entry is even removed from the Wayward Machine, even though it’s one of my most linked articles.
It isn’t removed from my computer and storage media, though, not yet.
We are Corbyn
The Blairites, the Red Tories have pretty much exposed themselves, overplayed their hand long ago. Not only is their politics awful, but they also come off as downright awful, abusive people. The way they have relentlessly attacked Jeremy Corbyn from he became party leader in The Labour Party is nothing short of ugly. When they are also caught lying and deceiving time and time again in ever more desperate attempts at reaching their objective, they are revealed for all the world to be very bad human beings.
I won’t repeat all the insane, irrational accusations here, only state categorically that they were pure inventions, lies and deception, a part of the massive ongoing harassment designed to bring Corbyn down. You can easily access them on the web. There was not a shred of truth in any of it. On the contrary, it was pure establishment propaganda.
One important piece of this puzzle is undoubtedly the fact that forces within and/or close to the Israeli government offered a reward for Corbyn’s head.
What became New Labour, under Tony Blair’s management wasn’t even a center-party, but a rightwing party, discarding any good thing traditional Labour had ever done. Margaret Thatcher was on the money when she said that New Labour was her greatest achievement. New Labour became without a shred of a doubt an integrated part of the establishment, and all that became under threat when Corbyn became leader. People like Jess Phillips, Alastair Campbell, Yvette Cooper, Ian Austin, Tom Watson, Margaret Hodge and many others had been cozy with the Tories for so long, had been let into the halls of power and they felt very threatened, saw their vaunted positions crumble beneath them.
The aim of the harassment has quite simply been to make as much noise as possible. They know they can’t prove anything, but use all the power and support the establishment and its media grants them to create as much trouble for true Labour as possible, to keep it from ever becoming the government in the UK.
It’s hard to tell at this stage, but as it stands their actions seems to have the opposite effect of what they desire. The attacks have clearly galvanized Corbyn’s supporters and more people support Corbyn and true Labour than ever. People that previously wouldn’t be caught dead near Labour has become members.
That is funny!
The Twitter hashtag #WeAreCorbyn was a such a great success with over 200 000 tweets in two hours. We dominate Twitter. People love Corbyn and rightly so. He is a standard to uphold, while his detractors are almost the lowest standard possible when it comes to human beings. Keep rejecting them. Keep supporting Jeremy Corbyn.
He’s only one person, of course, but one person can make a difference when he inspires millions of others. His integrity, his record stretching across forty years make him a man to be trusted, contrary to his detractors, his enemies that are only in it for themselves and their masters. Corbyn may not succeed in his endeavor, but he will make a damn good attempt. He already has.
What he and his supporters have done already reaches far beyond UK-borders, inspiring everyone seeking true justice, equality and freedom.
What True Labour has accomplished in the UK can be copied everywhere.
