The love and light delusion
The so called «New Age» isn’t a completely singular term, but several things, viewpoints and directions put together, but is basically about money and success, pretending to be something else.
It keeps rearing its ugly head decades after its inception.
New books centered on people’s «personal journey towards love and light» are practically produced on an assembly line.
It began or took off in the early eighties, with Shirley MacLaine’s book. Even though, similar thoughts existed before, she was the frontrunner for a veritable deluge of wishy, washy pink cloud thinking. It was from the start the establishment’s wet dream, and probably also designed by some department within the CIA or something…
People hailing love as the «power supreme» has a very limited view on life, seeing only a tiny part of it. They are sequestered in their tiny world by the view they have through their narrow view from their cavern. There is no addressing real-world problems there, just people with more or less monetary success riding on their rosy pink cloud and deceiving the world.
Their beef is mostly about something they call «negativism» that is just more of the same criticism they level upon everyone calling out the injustice in society.
It isn’t very alternative at all, but just more of the same, more of the same support for the establishment dressed up, disguised as alternative thinking. There is no foundation there.
«Why do you insist on going through life looking for disagreements? Intellectual discussion, yes. Arguments with hatefulness, no. Seek joy».
Such beyond naive shit here...
Have people saying something like this thought it through at all, thought anything through - ever?
What they are saying is «don’t ever confront injustice or make any attempt at changing the world for the better».
«Everything happens for a reason» is one of the most lame-ass statements out there, more of the same, as if that is some universal law in human life.
Experience tells us the exact opposite every single day.
No, this, all this is up there with the Moonies or Scientology. It’s just more crap designed to deceive as many as possible, and gain lots of money doing it.
